چکیده

In this paper, we consider a Hénon-type equation driven by nonlinear operator obtained as combination of local and nonlocal term. We prove existence non-existence akin to the classical result Ni, stability fractional parameter $s \to 1$.

Universal Bounds for Global Solutions of a Diffusion Equation with a Mixed Local-nonlocal Reaction Term

In this paper we prove the existence of a universal, i.e. independent of the initial data, bound for global positive solutions of a diffusion equation with a mixed local-nonlocal reaction term. Such results are already known in some cases of local or nonlocal reaction terms.

Local and nonlocal symmetries for nonlinear telegraph equation

In this paper, local and nonlocal symmetry classifications are considered for four equivalent nonlinear telegraph equations. A complete potential symmetry classification of a scalar nonlinear telegraph equation is given through the point symmetry classification of a related potential system. Six new classes of equations are shown to admit potential symmetries. The relationships between local si...

Concentrating solutions for the Hénon equation in IR 2 ∗

We consider the boundary value problem ∆u + |x| 2α u p = 0, α > 0, in the unit ball B with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition and p a large exponent. We find a condition which ensures the existence of a positive solution up concentrating outside the origin at k symmetric points as p goes to +∞. The same techniques lead also to a more general result on general domains. In particular, we ha...

Mixed Problem with Nonlocal Boundary Conditions for a Third-order Partial Differential Equation of Mixed Type

We study a mixed problem with integral boundary conditions for a third-order partial differential equation of mixed type. We prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution. The proof is based on two-sided a priori estimates and on the density of the range of the operator generated by the considered problem. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification. 35B45, 35K20, 35M10.
